How about discussing how our subjective thoughts correspond to objective reality? How do we know what we perceive is true?

Im trying to think of a good starting topic.  But until then here is a question for you "deep thinkers" out there.  

It seems to me when talking to some people, they just cant think with the mind and use "reason" to support their opinions and ideas.  they argue on feelings not looking at the "Whole picture."  I find it hard to "debate" with someone like that..... 

Is it just me, or are their others "out there" that feel the same way??
